Vessel Checklist Assignment

Prepare a seperate DRAFT checklist for a DOCKED VESSEL and a TRAILERED VESSEL. Remember, for Trailerable rigs, we have SAIL and POWER vessels. Checklists should include vessel and equipment inspections and task procedures.

Refer to your SEA SCOUT MANUAL, Trailer fliers, etc. Also, I have linked some samples from other crews vessel Pre-Sail and Post-Sail checklists. Your participation in this phase is required to continue with Small Boat Handler certification. Completion of this certification is required to move forward with QUALIFIED SEAMAN certification, and will be a significant consideration in choosing crew members to participate in more advanced exercises, outings and competitions.

Bring your checklists on 2/24 for the group to review and merge the drafts into our checklists for use on outings.
