Training is key in Sea Scouts. It ensures safety at sea, develops character and self confidence, and prepares members for rank advancement and leadership positions. Ship-11 conducts regular training activities, whether it be tabletop excercises at each meeting or at one of our excursions. Every outing presents a training opportunity, to Sea Base to prepare for competitions, the Fire Department Regional Training Center for a live fuel firefighting drill, to our local boat yard where our trailerables are stored, or to King Harbor in Redondo Beach, where our bigger boats are docked.
