SEA BASE DUTY
Cub Scout Pack Day Sail

Ship-11 regularly volunteered for Duty a Pardee Sea Base Marina del Rey this past summer. Sea Base Duty has several purposes. It provides older, more mature Sea Scouts an opportunity to put to work their skills with younger Cub and Boy Scouts on day or weekend outings at Sea Base. Our Ship's Officers volunteer as Small Boat Sailing and Motorboating Merit Badge Counselors, and Safe Swim Defense and Safety Afloat Trainers. Sea Scouts on Base Duty provides some needed time off for the full time staff and volunteers, as well.
