Chapman Eagle

	Bosuns Mate Brandon Chapman Attains Eagle Rank Our Ship's Boatswain's Mate, Brandon Chapman, takes the oath of Eagle Scout. Brandon earned his Eagle rank with Troop 39, Lancaster, CA. Brandon earnd 32 merit badges. He has also worked on staff at Camp Emerald Bay on Catalina Island. Many of Ship 11's crew have come from Troop 39, and a number have attained the rank of Eagle Scout, as well. The ceremony was conducted at the same Methodist Church that Ship 11 conducts it weekly meetings.
