AVYMA helps our youth reach new heights and grow into the strong leaders of tomorrow. Many of our alumnus have gone on to the US Navy, Marine Corps, and on to the Merchant Marine College to become officers with Cruise Lines and Hospital Ships, Charter Captains and Shipping Managers. All have developed leadship traits and teamwork skills found nowhere else. We develop these in the classroom setting, as well as on the water and at competive events. We support the local Sea Scout Ship, and its non-profit support group. |
